What a gem! I was recommended this restaurant by a local. Her recommendation was spot on! I like hamburgers and this is one of the best burgers I have eaten. Then add fantastic homemade fries, makes for a great meal. Reasonable prices, plus great waitstaff. Our server was Jamie, and she was just wonderful. We live near Fort Leonard Wood, this restaurant is definitely worth the drive to Lebanon. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped in on our way to go hiking. Red chili and green chili burgers were top notch. Cooked perfectly and good quality meat. The fries was 10/10 as well. We will be stopping again next time we're in the area. Service was great and quick. Highly recommend!

I would like to start by saying I found out that the Kitchen Manager and the Pitmaster are the owners, and it definitely shows in the quality of food. I started with the smoked wings smoky and crispy. They have a plethora of sauces to try, 16 sauces total. For the main course I. had the St. Louis ribs, the best ribs I have ever had. French fries are fresh-cut and delicious. by far the best restaurants in Lebanon. i will be returning the next time I'm in town.

The burger was amazing and the service was warm and inviting. Mel's is fantastic ill be back any chance I get.

Mel’s diner was great! Our server, Jami was friendly, efficient and just so nice! I have alpha gal and she made my order to fit my needs! My friend and I enjoyed sitting at the window just chatting and eating. Jami made sure our glasses were filled and made sure that we didn’t need anything. Highly recommend and we will back for sure! TLDR: I visited Mel's on Madison and was impressed by their great customer service and delicious food made in-house. The prices are a bit high, but it's worth it for the tasty meal and unique cheesecake flavors made by the owner's daughter. Highly recommend a visit for a fantastic dining experience. FULL: Mel's on Madison has been on my radar since its opening, and I finally had the opportunity to dine there recently. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the entire staff, and even the owner took the time to personally introduce himself and share information about his restaurant, including the fact that all dishes are made in-house with the exception of the toasted raviolis, which are sourced pre-made. We started with the toasted raviolis, which were not only delicious, but also served piping hot. For the main course, I opted for a medium rare 8oz tenderloin steak, accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and a house salad(not pictured). The food arrived promptly, within 15 minutes, and did not disappoint. The steak was succulent and full of flavor, the garlic mashed potatoes were exceptional, the coleslaw was satisfactory, and the house salad, though small, was appropriately sized for a single serving. For dessert, the owner informed us that his daughter made a variety of cheesecakes, including blueberry and espresso. I chose the espresso cheesecake and was thoroughly impressed by its richness, creaminess, and sweetness. Although the prices at Mel's on Madison are on the higher side, the exceptional customer service and delicious food make it a worthwhile dining experience. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone seeking a delightful culinary experience.

This place is amazing. The Tri tip sandwich was so good. My friend dining with me had the burnt end tacos. They were so Amazing. Tway brought out a sauce selection for us to try all of the sauces they had with a small sampling tray. It was absolutely some of the best homemade sauce that I have tried. The blackberry whisky jalapeno was my favorite. The best part was they sell the sauce o you can take some home with you. I can't wait to come back and try all of the menu. Great job everyone at Mel's. You have a customer for life.

Our new favorite place to eat when we come down to fish! Started with the Mels Mac n Cheese appetizer, the pulled pork on top was melt in your mouth! I love that they have the bbq sauces in bottles so we can try multiple flavors. The sweet and blackberry were very good! I had the tri tip sandwhich and my husband had the pulled pork sandwhich, it did not disappoint! The server was young and alittle inexperienced but was very attentive and made sure that our drinks were filled at all times (which is a huge deal to me). Over all good experience, going to try to go again for lunch before we leave at the end of the weekend.
